Physical Education

What We Offer

The Physical Education Department serves all students, staff and faculty. Classes in sports activities such as Golf, Volleyball, Basketball, Tennis, Karate, and Self-Defense are offered. The department also provides courses to promote cardiovascular health and fitness, the course list includes Aerobic Dance, Body Sculpting, Hip Hop, Yoga, Women's Body Conditioning, Men's Weight Training, and Walking and Jogging.

Classes That Meet Your Needs... and Schedule

Classes are offered at different levels to be responsive to individual motivation, time and independency. Other specific skill development programs include Athletic Performance and Conditioning, Women's Fastpitch, Men's Baseball, Men's and Women's Basketball Skills and Strategies, and Athletic Taping and Bracing.

Specialized Lecture Courses

Nutrition and Life Fitness covers various aspects of life fitness, basic anatomy, physiology of exercise and nutrition. PE 250 helps students establish a personal fitness program for life and encourages the adoption of a healthful lifestyle.

Classes are offered during the day and in the evenings. Individualized fitness programs are available.
