Planning Advisory Committee

Purpose

Through review, collaboration, and communication, guide the college in developing a clear, cohesive institutional-effectiveness framework that promotes continuous improvement and that contributes to college-wide planning and accountability.

Responsibilities

  • To understand and mentor evaluation, planning and reporting processes and recommend improvements, as needed, to President’s Cabinet.
  • To establish an effective, systematic communication link among institutional effectiveness, outcomes assessment, and research activities.
  • To promote open dialog and information dissemination about all institutional effectiveness and assessment activities, including Title III and advisory committee activities, throughout campus by acting as a liaison to the areas we represent.
  • To review and share best practices

Authority

As a planning and advisory body, the committee has no decision-making authority.  It presents its ideas and recommendations to President’s Cabinet for review.
