Energy Management
Our program trains Resource Conservation Managers, Energy Auditors, Energy Program/Project Managers, Sustainability Specialists, and Energy Efficiency Technicians. It begins with a foundation in energy, conservation, and sustainability, and continues by building students’ skills in analysis and assessment, energy accounting, commercial lighting, and energy efficiency program planning and implementation in the public as well as private realm.
Prepare for Green-Collar Jobs
Employers hiring workers trained in energy management and conservation include utilities, large corporations, and businesses who are interested in managing energy use in facilities and processes as well as those that install energy-saving equipment including lighting and HVAC contractors, green builders, weatherization manufacturing and sales businesses, and solar power system services.

Choose Options to Meet Your Goals and Timeline
Obtain a two-year Associate of Technical Arts degree or earn a short certificate. Most classes are offered evenings and online. Short certificates can be completed in two quarters (six months or less). Each certificate counts toward the Energy Management degree, which then transfers to Central Washington University if you later choose to complete a bachelor’s degree.
