What do I have to study for the GED® exam?

Starting Jan. 1, 2014, the GED® will consist of four tests in Math, Reading, Social Studies, and Science. These tests will include multiple choice, short response, and extended writing response. It is now a computer-based exam and knowledge of how to use drop down menus; inserting information in text boxes in essential.

Do I have to take classes to take the GED® exam?

What if I already took tests before Jan. 1, 2014?
