GED 009: GED Preparation

Credits: 1.0 to 10.0

Class prepares students for the official GED tests, college classes, and current or future work. Prerequisite(s): Departmental advising required.

Course Level Objectives

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Demonstrate improvement in one of the following areas: math, writing, and/or reading in preparation for passing the GED. [ACT]

  • Recall and apply test taking strategies. [REASON]
  • Describe and apply study skill techniques. [REASON]

  • GED 010: Advanced GED Preparation

    Credits: 1.0 to 10.0

    A fast paced GED preparation class that prepares students for the official GED tests, college classes, and current or future work. Prerequisite(s): Departmental advising required.
