About Hoan Do
Hoan Do is an inspirational speaker, acclaimed author, student success coach, and the recipient of the Verizon Wireless Motivator Award.
Raised by poor immigrant parents who nearly lost their lives to escape the Vietnam War, Hoan Do understood at a young age the importance of sacrifice and hard work.
After being accepted to Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, Hoan concentrated on succeeding so he could in return take care of his parents.
With the tremendous pressure Hoan placed on himself, in addition to the stresses of being a college student, Hoan found his self-esteem reach an all- time low. Refusing to settle and give up, Hoan used this experience as a turning point to learn practical skills that would help him to succeed in school and in life.
After graduating from Pepperdine University, Hoan beat out candidates who were considerably older and vastly more experienced than him to work with the #1 personal development company in the world. As a national speaker and corporate trainer, Hoan conducted training sessions for distinguished audiences that included: 21, Bank of America, Honda, Toyota, UBS Financial, Chambers of Commerce, and the U.S. Army.
Recognized as the best youth mentor by the International Examiner, Hoan travels North America speaking at colleges, high schools, and associations to help students to succeed on the topics of college success, leadership development, stress management, and personal motivation.
Since Hoan starting speaking, he has been fiercely committed to sharing practical advice and strategies that would help students to succeed in and out of school.
