Why Is Counseling Important?
Being a college student is a very unique time in a person's life. Some students are experiencing their first time away from home and others may be returning to school to begin a new career with the responsibility of a family.
No matter your reason for attending college, the lessons learned and obstacles overcome during your experience will provide a wonderful opportunity for emotional growth and insight building. At the same time, these wonderful opportunities can also result in overwhelming stress, psychological distress and academic difficulties.
Counseling and Wellness services are here to assist students with addressing the difficulties they may encounter during their time at Edmonds CC and to promote greater overall wellness for our entire campus.
To provide comprehensive and professional counseling and wellness services, resources and referral to enhance our diverse community's educational and career opportunities, success and well-being in a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment.
If you have a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest hospital emergency room.
